Maybe I misunderstood but Substack kind of does what you were talking about for one aspect(the quick daily post vs the long form). You have your different categories and subscribers can turn them on or off for receiving emails
I tried to post a screenshot, but it won't let me.
I can toggle on off notifications(emails) for "ChrisLiss.com" / "The Chris Liss Podcast" / "Fiction" / "Satire" / "Podcast" / "Video" / "New chat threads"
I'm not a creator so I'm not sure what was different about setting those up vs say the "Real Man Sports" tab, but would seem like a user could choose to turn off if you did a daily email etc under a new tab.
It's just under the upper right account drop down for Settings and then drill into the account you are subscribed to and it has the toggles.
cool, thanks Dan -- I thought that *might* be the case, just hadn't yet looked into it. Preferit would be where I could get people to opt in rather than opt out, but I'll check it out. Appreciate it.
Dude...coach the team. One season. You have time. She will be embarrassed at first but she will get over it.
