I've been pondering Bitcoin and it seems like it's just one of your prediction questions. Either Bitcoin is what we think it is and will become extremely valuable, or some weakness will be exposed and it will become worthless. I don't see a middle ground with it. So the question is: "Will Bitcoin become worthless?". I'm going with your approach of betting no. 🙂
I like that framing, but betting NO would probably be on it being worthless, YES being that it'll be the world reserve currency. Difference with that proposition is it's not betting YES on a player or a team or a stock. It's betting on incentives, monetary properties and thermodynamics.
